“When I’m asked why it’s easier when we intervene for companies to stay in business, I always say there are three keys: a business owner with a desire to do so, an advisor who knows the work and a receiver that doesn’t create any obstacles. And that’s why we always work as a team, whether we’re assisting debtors or we’re appointed by a court.”
Francisco has worked in the public sector as a Spanish Tax Administration inspector and as President of the National Industrial Agency, leading the privatization of Aceralia, among other companies.
He has worked -following court appointments- on some of the most relevant crisis cases such as Celta de Vigo, Deportivo de la Coruña, FESA (now, Fertiberia SA), MSP (now, Coto Minero Cantábrico) and Grupo IGS/PSV. As an advisor, he has managed the restructuring of Nozar, Quabit and Vértice360.
He has more than 40 years of experience in insolvencies, an area in which he is considered to be one of the leading experts in Spain.
